Calorie Tracker Privacy Policy

Calorie Tracker does not sell, share, or track your personal data. Your food log stays on your device and in your own iCloud. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following locally and, if you are signed in to iCloud, syncs it privately across your own devices using Apple's iCloud. We cannot see it:

• Your food log: foods, portions, calories and macronutrients, and the meal and date you logged them.
• Your calorie goals and per-meal targets.
• If you use Sign in with Apple: an anonymous Apple user identifier (kept in the device Keychain) and, if you choose to share them, your name and email. These are used only to show your account in the app and are not sent to us.

You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This removes your food log and goals from your device and iCloud and signs you out. You can also erase just your log from Settings → Delete All Entries, or delete the app. You can stop using Sign in with Apple for this app in Settings → Apple Account → Sign in with Apple.

Food search

Most foods are searched in a database built into the app. To find packaged products, the text you type in search is sent to our food database server. Searches are not linked to your account or identity and are used only to return results. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for operating and securing the service.

Packaged product data and photos come from Open Food Facts (Open Database License / CC BY-SA). Product photos load from Open Food Facts' servers.

Subscriptions and payments

Calorie Tracker Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Payments, billing, free trials and subscription management are handled by Apple. We never receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Health disclaimer

Calorie Tracker provides general nutrition information. Calorie and nutrient values come from restaurants, retailers and public databases and may not be exact. It is not a substitute for medical or dietary advice; consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
